ecoflex® F Blend C1200 BMB by BASF is a polybutylene adipate terephthalate (PBAT) with 100% attributed renewable feedstock via certified biomass balance (BMB) approach. It is used in the compounding of biopolymers. It offers a solution that is organically recyclable at the end of life. <br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>ecoflex® F Blend C1200 BMB is suitable for packaging industry to contribute to the reduction of fossil resource consumption and differentiate the products without compromising on performance and quality, or the need for extra investment into new processing lines.</li> <li>It has the same properties, performance, machine processability and biodegradation certificates as the standard ecoflex® grade.</li></ul>

ecoflex® F Blend C1200

ecoflex® F Blend C1200 by BASF is a semi-crystalline, aliphatic, aromatic copolyester based on the monomers 1,4 butanediol, adipic acid and terephthalic acid in the polymer chain. Possesses good thermostability up to 230°C, good processability, down gaging to 10 µm, weldablility, printability and a melting point of 110-120°C. Exhibits high molecular weight, long branched molecular structure, high ultimate elongation at break, high failure energy (dart drop), controllable high water vapor transmission rate (WVTR), resistance to water- and tear. Designed for processing by blown and cast films. Typical applications include packaging films, agricultural films and compost bags. ecoflex® F Blend C1200 complies with DIN EN ISO 9001 2000, food contact approved by European Directive 2002/72/EC (as amended) and US food contact notification FCN 907. It fulfils the requirements of the European standard DIN EN 13432, the US standard ASTM D 6400 and the Japanese GreenPla standards.
