Ultrasint® TPU 88A by BASF 3D Printing Solutions is a multi-purpose thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) for laser sintering. Shows a balanced property profile with good flexibility and allows complete freedom of design, high level of detail and surface quality. Designed for jigs & fixtures, footwear, sports protection equipment, transportation industry, automotive interior, industrial tubes and pipes. Exhibits high processing stability with high ease of use on any PBF machine, offering 80% reusability ratio. It allows easy finishing through smoothing, dying and coating as well as good UV and hydrolysis resistance. It passes skin sensitisation and cytotoxicity tests in accordance with ISO 10993-10 and ISO 10993-5. Parts produced with Ultrasint® TPU 88A offer either high shock absorption or excellent energy return as well as good resistance to fatigue.
