Supplied byBASF 3D Printing Solutions- Last Updated on Feb 12, 2021
Ultrafuse® 17-4 PH by BASF 3D Printing Solutions is a filament for the production of metal components on standard fused filament fabrication (FFF) printers. It enables stainless steel parts for applications that require high hardness and mechanical strength. It is also referred to as Type 630 and is chromium-copper martensitic precipitation hardened stainless steel. Designed for tooling, jigs and fixtures, series production, functional parts and prototypes. Offers good corrosion resistance and wide range of post-processing options for green parts. Ideal for petrochemical, aerospace, automotive and medical industries. Parts printed with Ultrafuse® 17-4 PH obtain their final full metal properties by an industrially proven catalytic debinding and sintering process developed for the metal injection molding industry.
