LEVAPREN® 900 by ARLANXEO is a low viscosity, colorless, odorless, high-performance, water-insoluble ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (EVM). It contains 90% vinyl acetate dusted with separating agents such as silica and talc. It exhibits high aging-, heat-, UV- and ozone resistance. It is soluble in chlorinated and aromatic hydrocarbons. It can be processed by extrusion and injection molding. It is designed for cable, construction and automotive industry. The possible applications could be wires, fire retardant & low smoke floor sheetings, foams, industrial and high heat cables. It can also be used in shoe soles, FR conveyor belts, hoses, seals, protective films, hot melt adhesives and PSA’s. other applications include zero halogen low smoke fire retardant cables, single-core and fuel resistant cables.
