LEVAPREN® 500 XL VP by Arlanxeo is a water insoluble, colorless, odourless ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (EVM). Contains 50% vinyl aetate dusted with separating agents such as silica and talc. It is soluble in chlorinated and aromatic hydrocarbons. Exhibits high aging-, heat-, UV- and ozone resistance. Can be processed by extrusion and injection molding. Designed for cable, construction and automotive industry. Possible applications could be wires, fire retardant & low smoke floor sheetings, foams, industrial and high heat cables. Other applications may include zero halogen low smoke fire retardant cables, single core and fuel resistant cables. Can also be used in shoe soles, FR conveyor belts, hoses, seals, protective films, hot melt adhesives and PSA’s. Shelf life of LEVAPREN® 500 XL VP is 36 months.
