Buna® SL 7518-4

Buna® SL 7518-4 by ARLANXEO is an oil-extended copolymer of butadiene and styrene containing 18% of bounded styrene. It is stabilized with non-staining antioxidants. It is insoluble in water. It is produced by the solution polymerization process using an alkyl-lithium initiator. It provides a low glass transition temperature which gives excellent low-temperature flexibility, abrasion- and low rolling resistance. The vulcanizates of this product have superior resistance to reversion. In tire manufacture, it is blended with NR, BR or E-SBR. Buna® SL 7518-4 has outstanding properties in the manufacture of tires, retreads, molded technical parts, injected or extruded goods, surgical goods, shoe soles and automotive industry parts.
