Buna® CB 1221

Buna® CB 1221 by ARLANXEO is cobalt catalyzed butadiene rubber. It has a very high 1,4-cis content together with higher 1,2-vinyl content and broader molecular weight distribution with a high degree of branching. It allows easy processing during the production of high-quality rubber goods. It can be blended with NR for goods having thick sections, high resistance towards reversion and abrasion. It can be used in sidewall and tread compounds for tires. Buna® CB 1221 is also applicable in conveyor belts, golf balls, footwear soles, automotive/mobility, seals (static), building/construction, anti-vibration systems, consumer goods, tire retread, rollers and industrial/machinery.
