Fluon® ZL-521N

Fluon® ZL-521N by AGC is a melt-processable ETFE (tetrafluoroethylene-ethylene) copolymer grade reinforced with 5% carbon fiber. Possesses a unique combination of desirable properties such as higher resistance to heat & chemical attack and outstanding physical toughness. Also exhibits low smoke & flame characteristics, outstanding resistance to weather & aging, good dielectric properties and non-stick characteristics. Available in a variety of forms including 1/8” pellets and powder. Suitable for electrostatic coating (top coats for ZL-520N). Possible applications could be wire & cable (automotive, industrial, aerospace, transit, and appliance markets), film & sheets, tubing & pipe, electronic components, electrostatic vessel linings and valves, fittings & pump housings. Fluon® ZL-521N complies with FDA (Food Contact Notification (FCN) number 481).
