AFLAS® 100S

AFLAS® 100S is a peroxide-curable fluoropolymer grade. Exhibits high heat resistance, outstanding steam resistance, excellent base-, acid-, many solvents-, ozone and amine resistance. Possesses low compression set, high curing performance, chemical durability and extremely high electrical resistivity compared with other elastomers. Is suitable for long service use (>25 years) in harsh environments and can be compounded to be highly resistant to rapid gas decompression (eg NORSOK). It must be optimally formulated, press cured (170°C, 20 minutes), post cured (200°C, =4 hours) to take full advantage of its physical properties. AFLAS® 100H by AGC is used in O-rings, gaskets, oilfield parts, rotating shaft seals and heavy duty seals. Recommended for oil & gas, chemical process, wire & cable, industrial equipment, food handling, pharmaceutical, heavy duty diesel and automotive industries applications. Meets with the requirements of USP Class VI.
