3M™ Dyneon™ Fluoroplastic PVDF 110080001
Supplied by3M- Last Updated on Aug 3, 2023
3M™ Dyneon™ Fluoroplastic PVDF 110080001 by 3M-Dyneon is a polyvinlylidene fluoride (PVDF) copolymer made from vinylidene fluoride (VF2) and hexafluoropropylene (HFP). It is suitable for processing by melt extrusion techniques and injection molding for smooth surface parts. It is ideal for high speed extrusion. It exhibits high abrasion-, heat aging-, chemical-, solvent-, flame and smoke resistance and resistance to UV and nuclear radiation. It possesses excellent dimensional stability, improved flexibility over PVDF homopolymer, high strength, toughness, smooth or anti-fouling surface, excellent weatherability and low permeability to most gases and liquids. It allows long term use of temperatures up to 150°C. It is used in chemical processing, wire and cable, electronics like semiconductor, automotive, building, food processing, pharmaceutical, battery applications and in oil & gas industries. 3M™ Dyneon™ Fluoroplastic PVDF 110080001 is recommended for plenum rating jacketing and tubes with UL 150°C rating in numerous cable constructions and fiber raceway designs.
