It is obtained primarily from the leaves and stem of the perennial grass "Cymbopogon" of the lemongrass family. It helps to kill germs and fungi on the skin. It also speeds up wound healing. It finds application in formulating personal care products including soap, body lotion, insect repellent, shampoo and hair conditioner. Citronella Java Oil is REACH registered, KOSHER certified and complies with US FDA 21 CFR 182.20 regulations. It has a shelf life of 24 months.
