PEG-12 Dimethicone. Silsurf® D212-CG by Siltech is a water-soluble silicone surfactant. It is an ethoxylated polydimethylsiloxane. It is a 100% active low odor and low color cosmetic grade. It provides lubricity to fiber as well as conditioning to hair and skin. Silsurf® D212-CG can be used in lotions, gels, creams, conditioners and shampoos. The shelf life of the product is 36 months when stored in the original, unopened containers between 10 and 40°C.
