HydroSal® Natural Antiseptic

It is a delivery system that encapsulates a blend of natural oils. The oils have antifungal and antiseptic properties that provide protection to skin throughout the day, and it may also be used as a preservative in cosmetic products. Encapsulation reduces the odor, while providing increased deposition and sustained release of the actives onto the skin. When HydroSal™ Natural Antiseptic is applied to skin and the water evaporates, the polymeric shell seals the sub-micron spheres. The barrier properties of the shell are disturbed when exposed to moisture, providing a burst of protection. The shell reseals when the moisture evaporates, allowing additional bursts of antibacterial protection when needed most. Used in leave-on products including skin care, anti-aging, general anti-acne (otc) and rinse-off products including facewash, hand sanitizer.
