APG 0810 65% CDG

Caprylyl/Decyl Glucoside. APG 0810 65% CDG by OQEMA is a non-ionic surfactant made from natural raw materials, natural alcohols and glucose derived from plants. It is used as a secondary surfactant in personal care cleansing applications where it offers excellent mildness, foaming performance and ability to reduce irritation on skin. It is low toxic and readily biodegradable. Detergency, wetting, dispersing, surface tension reduction, compatibility and foaming are among the other properties offered by this ingredient. Further, it exhibits excellent alkaline and electrolyte resistance and can solubilize other ingredients. It can be formulated in bubble water as a foaming agent. APG 0810 65% CDG is suitable for lotions, shampoos, and day-, night-, body- and hand creams. The shelf life is 24 months.
