Pentylene glycol. Diol PD Kokyu Alcohol Kogyo acts as a humectant and antimicrobial. It is derived from petroleum-based polyol. It inhibits growth of microorganisms and enhances antimicrobial activity. It is used in hair treatment & styling, conditioner, lotion, milk, cream and leave-in products. It is recommended at 3% in formulations.
