SeraSol® SC 90

PEG/PPG-6/4 Dimethicone. SeraSol® SC 90 by KCC Beauty acts as a pro-foamer, O/W co-emulsifier, humectant, plasticizer, conditioner and wetting agent. It is a copolymer of polydimethylsiloxane and polyoxyalkaylene ethers. It is a light and silky silicone based emulsifier, used to create a wide range of O/W creams and lotions with a soft rub-out. It offers formulation flexibility as well as a wide range of sensory benefits. It is also useful as a wet conditioning additive for shaving, bathing and shower products. Moreover, it shows plasticizing characteristics, useful for modifying the properties of hair styling polymers. It is cold-processable and provides silicone properties to clear and aqueous based formulations. It provides excellent foam boosting in surfactant systems. SeraSol® SC 90 finds application in formulating shampoos, conditioners and hair-styling products. It is available is Europe, Middle-East and Africa.
