SeraSol® SC 85

PEG-11 Methyl Ether Dimethicone. SeraSol® SC 85 by KCC Silicone acts as a foam stabilizer, Si/W emulsifier, O/W co-emulsifier, humectant, plasticizer, conditioner and wetting agent. It is a water soluble copolymer of polydimethylsiloxane and polyoxyalkaylene ether. It is cold-processable and provides silicone properties to clear and aqueous based formulations. It exhibits pro-foaming quality which stabilizes rich & luxurious foam and provides soft & silky skin feel. It offers gloss and reduced static in skin & hair. It is also useful as a wet conditioning additive for shaving, bathing and shower products. Moreover, it shows plasticizing characteristics, useful for modifying the properties of hair styling polymers. SeraSol® SC 85 finds application in formulating shampoos, conditioners and hair-styling products.
