SeraSense® SF CPM-A

Caprylyl Methicone. SeraSense® SF CPM-A by KCC Silicone acts as an emollient and carrier. It is a caprylyl branched trisiloxane, an excellent substitute for cyclosiloxane. It provides excellent emolliency and are aesthetic carriers with superior spreading, lubrication and transient conditioning. It exhibits moderate volatility, low viscosity & surface tension, superior cleansing with no residue and improved pigment dispersibility. Moreover, it is easy to formulate, can be heated upto 90°C and makes transparent formulations. It shows excellent compatibility with a wide range of ingredients and still provides light and silky skin feel. It is used in formulations to improve smoothness, detoxification and emolliency. SeraSense® SF CPM-A finds application in formulating antiperspirant, deodorant, color cosmetics and skin-, sun-, hair- and lip-care products.
