ALKOLAN® CAP 30
Supplied byIndorama Ventures Public Company- Last Updated on Oct 28, 2025
Cocamidopropyl Betaine. ALKOLAN® CAP 30 by Indorama Ventures Public Company acts as an amphoteric surfactant. It is an alkyl amidopropyl betaine having an alkyl group derived from palm kernel oil. It is compatible with all surfactant classes: anionic, non-ionic, amphoteric and cationic surfactants. It can mitigate the irritation effects of anionic surfactants and are recommended to be used in combination with ALKOPON® product line. Due to its shorter alkyl chain length, it can function as both a detergent and as a hydrotrope and when used results in clear formulations even at lower temperatures. If used as the sole surfactant in a system, the foam will be moderate and easily rinsed. Can be used in mild personal care formulations.
