Macat® LFB

Capryl/Capramidopropyl Betaine. Macat® LFB by Pilot Chemical and distributed by Brenntag Beauty & Personal Care in US, Canada and Mexico is a low foaming, effective cleansing agent, compatibilizer, and outstanding foam stabilizer. It can be used as a secondary surfactant or as a coupler for other less soluble ingredients. It is 37% solids caprylic/capric (C8/10) amidopropyl dimethyl glycine (betaine) in water.

• It provides good detergency, coupling performance and exceptional mildness.
• It is compatible with most anionic, nonionic, and cationic surfactants.
• It can be used over a broad pH range and performance is unaffected by hard water.
• It is used in personal care cleaning applications such as facial washes and liquid hand soap.
• Macat® LFB has a shelf life of 2 years.
