PEG-54 Castor Oil. ALKEST® CSO 540 by Indorama Ventures Public Company acts as an emulsifier, solubilizer, emollient, dispersing agent and humectant. It is a non-ionic surfactant, whose hydrophobic portion comes from castor oil and the hydrophilic portion, from the ethylene oxide chain. ALKEST® CSO 540 is used in formulations of creams, lotions, masks, bases and sun protection products.
