Diisodecyl Adipate. HALLSTAR® DIDA by Hallstar is an emollient and resin plasticizer. It provides feel modification/enhancement and gloss/shine enhancement. It is an esterification product of adipic acid and isodecyl alcohol. This petrochemically-derived ester is readily emulsified and compatible in emulsion systems common to personal care products. HALLSTAR® DIDA is used in after-sun skin care, bath additives, roll-on antiperspirant/deodorant products, perfumed body oils and moisturizing bath oils. Also, used in fragrances, hair conditioners, hand & body care, shower gels/body washes and styling aids.
