Isooctyl Tallate. HALLGREEN® CT by Hallstar is an emollient, pigment binding agent, lubricant, solubilizer, anti-tack- & gloss agent, resin plasticizer, spreading agent and sunscreen solvent. This plant derived/vegetal-based ingredient possesses feel modification/enhancement as well as gloss/shine enhancement. It delivers a light oily feel to skin immediately after application and later provides a lubricious, somewhat cushiony & after-feel. It is readily emulsified and is compatible with emulsion systems common to personal care products. It can be used in sunscreens, aerosol antiperspirants, lipsticks, liquid makeup and bath oils. It is recommended for moisturizing creams & lotions, aerosol deodorants, hair sprays and pressed powder makeup. HALLGREEN® CT is suitable for after-sun skin are, bath additives, beach wear sun care, facial color cosmetics, facial skin- & foot care, hair conditioners, hand & body care as well as styling aids.
