Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride. C’ESTER MCT-C by Ethox Chemicals is a non-oily, low odor, light-colored, low viscosity, emollients and humectant. It is a saturated triglyceride of short-chain fatty acids derived from coconut oil. It is a very stable ester that has excellent lubricity and emollience properties. It is non-irritating to the skin and is considered GRAS by the FDA. It acts as a carrier, co-solvent and coupling agent. C’ESTER MCT-C is used in moisturizing hand-, body lotions, hair conditioners, cleansers and perfumes as well as cream and lotion formulations.
