Dimethiconol Meadowfoamate. FANCORSIL® LIM-2 by Elementis is a non-animal origin repairing, moisturizing and shining agent. It is manufactured by complexing the fatty acid of the natural triglyceride meadowfoam seed oil (limnanthes alba) with silicone. It imparts creaminess to the foam, builds body & texture in formulations and may help in film forming. It absorbs into the hair, repairs cuticle and increases strength of hair. It improves hair shine, feel and combability. It offers emolliency and lubricity without greasiness. FANCORSIL® LIM-2 is used in lipsticks, decorative cosmetics, hair care (conditioner, styling aids, shampoo), body lotion, skin cream, gels and baby products. It has a shelf life of 3 years.
