Ucon™ Fluid LB-1715

PPG-40 Butyl Ether. Ucon™ Fluid LB-1715 by Dow acts as an emollient and deposition agent. It is a moderate-viscosity fluid that provides emolliency, solvency, and slip in skin lotions, antiperspirants, eye makeup removers, and deodorants. It offers the ability to efficiently wet pigments. It is used in compressor oils, fire resistant hydraulic fluids, gas turbine oils, hair styling/treatment, sunscreen and body washes. It provides anti-varnish, good deposit control, excellent hydrolytic stability, low to high viscosity ranges and low friction coefficients. It can be combined with other natural oils, organic solvents, plastizers, resins or gums. Ucon™ Fluid LB-1715 shows outstanding load carrying capacity, high extreme pressure failure loads, low pour point temperatures, noncorrosive to metals and fire resistance.
