Sorbitan Sesquioleate. Span™ 83 NV by Croda is a W/O emulsifier, emulsion stabilizer, pigment wetter, surfactant and dispersing agent. It is recommended for unsaturated lipid components such as oleyl alcohol or vegetable oils. It is readily biodegradable. Span™ 83 NV is used in shower, soaps, bath, rinse-off hair conditioners, shampoos, styling, sun protection, and eye-, lip- & face color formulations. It is also used for body- and face/neck skin care products. It is ECOCERT approved.
