Decyl Glucoside. Glucoside 650EC by Connect Chemicals is a mild, readily biodegradable, non-ionic surfactant and emulsifier. It is the most delicate ingredient among APG, making it suitable for the formulations for sensitive skin and children. It exhibits excellent dermatological compatibility & good conditioning power, and offers excellent detergency and processing benefits in a variety of cleaning products. It is free of preservative and polyethylene glycol (PEG).
  • It provides superior performance by combining the formulation ease of typical non-ionics with the foam characteristic of anionics.
  • It is widely used as a primary or basic surfactant and a co-surfactant in the formulation of cosmetic products declared as natural.
  • It exhibits good hydrotropic & solubilizing properties, superior wetting, dispersing and interfacial tension reduction properties for emulsification.
  • It is compatible with strong acids and anionic-, cationic- & other non-ionic surfactants.
  • Glucoside 650EC is recommended for fragrances, toiletries, makeup, skin-, hair-, and sun care products.
  • It is Ecocert & COSMOS approved, NATRUE allowed and RSPO certified.
  • It has a shelf life of 12 months.
