Phenoxyethanol (and) Sorbitan Caprylate. Nipaguard® SCP by Clariant is a halogen- & formaldehyde-free preservative blend. It is a broad spectrum antimicrobial agent.
  • It is an alternative to parabens and formaldehyde donors.
  • It provides activity against gram positive- & negative bacteria, yeasts & molds.
  • It is effective at low concentration and is easy to handle and to process.
  • It reduces preservation load and is recommended for color cosmetics, antiperspirant and deodorant.
  • Nipaguard® SCP is used in shower, liquid- & bar soap, shampoo, syndet, wet wipe and hair conditioner.
  • Also used in cream, lotion, sun protection and hair styling products.
