Sorbitan Caprylate (and) Propanediol (and) Benzoic Acid. Nipaguard® SCE by Clariant is a broad spectrum preservative blend. It is formaldehyde-free, mild to the skin and functions as an emollient. It also boosts the effectiveness of other preservatives. It is designed for a wide range of cosmetics and toiletries. It is particularly strong against molds. It is suitable for a wide range of applications including shower products, liquid soaps, shampoos, syndets and bar soaps, wet wipes, hair conditioners and styling products. It is also ideal for use in creams, lotions, sun protection formulations, antiperspirants and deodorants. Nipaguard® SCE is renewable, vegan suitable, natrue-, ISO 16128-, RSPO-, COSMOS-, Ecocert-certified and readily biodegradable.
