Sorbitan Caprylate (and) Benzyl Alcohol. Nipaguard® SCA by Clariant is a broad spectrum antimicrobial agent. It is a preservation blend.
  • It is free of paraben, halogen, EO and formaldehyde.
  • It is a reliable paraben-alternative and is effective at low in use concentration.
  • It is based on natural and renewable Velsan® SC synergistic booster.
  • It exhibits activity against gram-positive and negative bacteria, yeasts & molds.
  • It is readily biodegradable, reduces preservation load and waste generation.
  • Used in cosmetics, wet wipes, leave-on, rinse-off and difficult to preserve formulations.
  • Nipaguard® SCA is also used in shower, liquid soap, shampoo, wet wipe and hair conditioner.
  • Recommended for cream, lotion, antiperspirant & deodorant, hair styling and sun protection products.
