Sodium Cocoyl Glutamate. Hostapon® CCG by Clariant is a mild, anionic, amino acid-based surfactant. Acts as a hydrophilic co-emulsifier in O/W emulsions.
  • It exhibits good skin compatibility, moderate resistance to hard water and very low potential of VOC.
  • It is a cold processable grade and based on natural raw materials.
  • It imparts a very pleasant feel on the skin, has vegetal origin, excellent biodegradability and is free of preservatives.
  • It has very good foaming behavior and improves the dermatological characteristics of surfactant formulations.
  • It provides no irritation, no tears and no damage to skin lipids.
  • It significantly reduces water & energy consumption at the end consumer level due to easy rinse-off.
  • It shows marked surface and interfacial activity.
  • It is used for ultra-mild formulations, shampoos, shower gels, liquid soaps and cleansing lotions.
  • It is also used for hair-, bath- and baby-care products.
  • Hostapon® CCG is Ecocert and COSMOS approved.
