GlucoTain® Sense

Sunfloweroyl Methylglucamide. GlucoTain® Sense by Clariant is a mild, non-ionic sugar surfactant. It is a highly efficient sensory additive with refatting effects.

• It is non-tropical sourced and produced by the reaction of N-methyl glucamine with sunflower oil.
• Offers good skin tolerability, deep caring after-feel and dense, gentle & stable foam in formulations.
• It shows superior conditioning effect in the dry state and can thus eliminate or reduce the necessity for cationic polymers or other refatting agents in rinse-off formulations.
• It is especially suitable for sensitive, demanding and dry skin & hair.
• It is miscible with all types of surfactants (anionic, non-ionic, cationic and amphoteric).
• GlucoTain® Sense exhibits good hair & skin cleansing ability in products such as creams, lotions, shampoos, showers & baths, caring liquid hand soaps, syndet and pampering facial cleansers.
• It is Vegan and complies with Ecocert, COSMOS, Ecotain and Halal certifications.
• It has a shelf life of 2 years at 20-25°C and 3 months at 30°C.
