Masamide® R-4

PEG-4 Rapeseedamide. Masamide® R-4 by Pilot Chemical and distributed by Brenntag Beauty & Personal Care in US, Canada and Mexico acts as surfactant and nonionic emulsifier. It is a 90% active, naturally plant derived PEG-4 rapeseedamide in water. Provides thickening, foam boosting, stabilizing and solubilizing properties.

• It is based on renewable vegetable lipid and free from diethanolamine, nitrosamine and allergen.
• It offers superior reduction of irritation profile of ether sulfate-containing formulations.
• It also provides pleasant skin feel and contributes re-fatting properties.
• It is an effective emulsifier in O/W systems such as silicones and paraffinic oils.
