RapiThix™ A-100 polymer

Sodium Polyacrylate. RapiThix™ A-100 polymer by Ashland and distributed by Brenntag Beauty & Personal Care in US acts as a rheology modifier and emollient-based dispersant. It provides soft & smooth feel, formulation flexibility and high solid content for higher efficiency. It is easy to use, shear-tolerant and effective at low usage levels.

• It allows for rapid hydration, ease of dispersion and no neutralization.
• It offers no pre-set oil phase, makes oil-free systems possible and produces instant crème gels at room temperature.
• It is suitable for use in cold-mix processes and can be post-added to adjust viscosity after emulsion formation and cooling.
• RapiThix™ A-100 polymer is used in formulating sun- (after-sun, self-tanning and sunscreen), facial-, anti-frizz, styling & conditioning creams, and body care products.
