Cetyl PEG/PPG – 10/1 Dimethicone. Acts as a w/o emulsifier. Provides properties such as texture recognised as luxurious, ease of spreadability, excellent coverage, ease of penetration and rub-in. It is used to form high internal phase emulsions (HIPE). It has HLB value in the range of 5. Its special attributes are non ionic w/o emulsifier, low use level, cold emulsifying ability, great for invert emulsions. It is used for skin care, hair care, clor cosmetics, foundations and sun care.
