Sodium PCA. iMoist PCA by BIOALKEMIA is an additive-free, natural moisturizer and naturally occurring humectant. It is a salt of pyrrolidone carbonic acid offering high water-absorbing properties and is considered to be hygroscopic. It is used as an emollient to the skin with stronger hydrating power. Shows compatibility of skin, helps skin be soft and enhances skin elasticity. Provides excellent moisturization, adhesion and non-irritant to skin and eyes even at high concentrations. It obtains excellent synergy in combination with Hyaluronic acid. Suitable for use in all kinds of cosmetics products, like skin moisturizers and fresheners, toner, essence, cream, lotion, foundation, leave-in conditioners, shampoos, conditioners and hair sprays, facial cleansers and soap as well as anti-aging, illuminating and UV protecting creams. iMoist PCA has a recommended shelf life of 2 years.
