Benzyl Alcohol (and) Aqua (and) Potassium Sorbate (and) Sodium Benzoate, Water. Kem E by Akema is a broad-spectrum preservative blend based on nature-identical substances. It is an optimized combination of the antibacterial properties of benzyl alcohol with antifungals potassium sorbate and sodium benzoate. It is effective against Gram-negative bacteria and Gram-positive bacteria & against yeasts and molds. Kem E is permitted to use in natural and organic cosmetics. Typical personal care applications are hair, body, face, baby and sun care products. It is recommended for make-up, shaving & bath products. It is suitable for both rinse-off & leave-on applications.
