Andisil® SF 1605

Cyclohexasiloxane (and) Dimethiconol. Andisil® SF 1605 by AB Specialty Silicones is a cyclic carrier for applications where D4 and D5 are not desired. It provides velvety feel in lotions and creams. It combines volatile siloxane with high molecular weight gum providing excellent water resistance. In skin care products, it provides long wear of active on skin, unique skin feel, cushion, film forming, spreadability, lubrication, organic compatibility, skin protectant, water repellency and wash off resistance. It is suitable for clear formulations. Whereas, in hair care products, it offers anti-frizz and conditioning properties to prevent split ends, ease of formulation, soft/supple feel and low residue/light build up. It improves texture and wet & dry combing. It is suitable for dry & damaged hair and anhydrous formulations. Andisil® SF 1605 is used in cleansers, color cosmetics, serums, sun care, leave-in conditioners and styling treatments. The shelf life of this ingredient is 12 months.
