Cosmetics & Personal Care Formulations with Humectants

This innovative Foaming Liquid Soap has low viscosity and rich, abundant foam when applied through the foaming valve. The foam's creaminess and stability is provided by Merquat™ 740 conditioning polymer and by the surfactant system. This system consists of the naturally derived soap Potassium Cocoate, Chembetaine™ OL-30 surfactant which delivers an emollient sensory, Chemoxide™ LO-PF amine oxide which boosts the foam and helps to stabilize the formula, and Chemonic™ LI-7 surfactant which aids in the solubilization of the fragrance and imparts emolliency to the skin. This mild cleansing formulation makes bath time a pleasant experience for both mom and baby. Glucamate™ DOE-120 Thickener provides high viscosity, exceptional softness and has a low irritation potential for eyes and skin. Sulfochem™ TD-3 Surfactant is a mild surfactant ideal for baby skin. Quatrex™ S Conditioner, a liquid cationic surfactant compatible with anionic ingredients, acts as an excellent conditioning agent. Glucam™ E-20 Humectant provides humectancy.

It is well known that color treatment can cause hair to become excessively dry. To combat this problem, this formula includes moisturizers like Hydrolyzed Soy Protein and humectants like Lactamide MEA both of which help replenish the hair's moisture content. PEG-20 Almond Glycerides is an emollient and solubilizer for the dyes, while CocamidopropylamineOxide provides conditioning. Cocoamidopropyl Betaine and Cocamide DEA function as rinsing aids for the dyes.

The proper combination of Schercemol™ DISM, SHS and CO Esters provides elegant emolliency with enhanced skin hydration as well as a cascading sensory experience to this fast absorbing moisturizing cream.

Carbopol® Ultrez 20 Polymer thickens this very low surfactant cleansing system effectively, while providing excellent stabilization of nourishing olive oil. This low pH cleanser is paraben-free and preserved using organic acids. Glucam™ E-20 Humectant retains moisture on the skin and Merquat™ 3330PR Polymer provides conditioning to skin, leaving it feeling soft and silky.

Avalure™ UR-450 Polymer provides breathable water resistant property to this very water-resistant, easy-to-apply sunscreen which is ideal for people who partake in water sports or activities that require long exposure under the sun. This high SPF formulation with UVA and UVB protection is emulsified by the combination of vegetable derived emulsifiers: Glucamate™ SSE-20 Emulsifier, Glucate™ SS Emulsifier and Promulgen™ D Nonionic Emulsifier. It also contains light emollient Schercemol™ DIS Ester to improve the sensory of the formulation containing high levels of organic UV filters. It also contains Glucam™ E-20 Humectant to maintain skin moisture.

Efficient emulsion stability is provided by Pemulen® TR-1 or TR-2 Polymer in this effective, yet mild water-less hand cleaner. Glucam™ E-20 Humectant helps to make the skin hydrated, supple and pleasant to the touch.

Carbopol® Ultrez 20 Polymer provides a luxurious, extended playtime experience to this medium viscosity eye repair gel. This formula containing Glucam™ E-20 Humectant and four other moisturizing agents hydrates and relaxes the wrinkle prone areas around the eyes.
