Cosmetics & Personal Care Formulations with Emollients

This cleansing formulation leaves the skin feeling smooth and moisturized. Glucamate™ DOE-120 Thickener and Glucquat™ 125 Humectant, two naturally-derived ingredients, add body and provide a rich skinfeel. Chemonic™ LI-7 Surfactant is a naturally-derived low irritation nonionic surfactant that boosts viscosity and emolliency.

This daily facial cream offers all day protection from harmful blue-light while still allowing beneficial red-light to be transmitted to the skin. This cream absorbs quickly into the skin due to the combination of light emollients and moisturizers. It also helps the skin stay soft, smooth and beautiful.

This formulation contains, Homosalate; Titanium Dioxide; Aluminum Hydroxide Stearic Acid, which is a unique blend of an inorganic with a organic sunscreen. Vegetable and silicone emollients along with the sunscreens are dispersed in an O/W emulsion. Active Ingredients: Titanium Dioxide 5.94%; Homosalate 12.06%; Butylmethoxydibenzoylmethane 1.50%

This soap-free scrub is a creamy, gentle exfoliating formula that can be used every day for soft, smooth skin. This unique formula combines natural Sea Whip Extract for its skin soothing and anti-inflammatory properties, Lipo® Lufa for its gentle exfoliating effect and Lipovol® Sun and Lipobutter® Persea for emolliency and cleansing properties.

In this low viscosity product, Chembetaine™* CAS Surfactant enhances foaming and helps to remove makeup and mascara. Additional solvency, moisturization and emolliency are provided by Hydramol™* PGPL Ester. This water-soluble, non-greasy ester allows creation of a formulation with a lower overall level of surfactant, and low irritancy potential.

This product is specially formulated to reduce scalp damage and hair breakage, while chemically straightening the hair. Floraesters K-100 Jojoba is a botanically-derived substantive ingredient which, when combined with glycerin, helps to hold moisture in the hair. The combination of Floraesters 20 Jojoba and Floraesters 30 provides emolliency and occlusivity that protects the hair from breakage and reduces the damaging effect of relaxer actives on the scalp while leaving the hair smooth, soft, and silky. (Base should be used in combination with the Activator prior to hair application. The weight use ratio of Base to Activator is 3:1.)

Smooth, spherical Florabeads Jojoba provide gentle exfoliation and a residual emolliency in this smoothing foot scrub. The beads are held in suspension by the crosspolymer.

This pearlescent bath gel produces a rich, creamy foam which rinses easily while leaving a soft, emollient feel on the skin. POLYOX™ WSR N-3000 ensures good slip and lubricating properties and enhances the foam. Glucam E-10 provides humectancy. Glucamate DOE-120 thickens this mild cleansing system which contains decyl glucoside, Cocoamphodiacetate and sulfosuccinate.
