Cosmetics & Personal Care Formulations with Dispersants

This high impact color lipstick contains Kobo's Pigmentary Dispersions, INBP75ER and INBP45R7C, which are used for their high percentage of color. They also help to improve wear and formula aesthetics. KTZ® Classic White is treated with ITT for optimal glide and creates a shimmering, frosted effect. Kobo's Microsphere, MSS- 500/3H, is used to achieve better application and helps to reduce sweating. Koboguard® 5400 CCT gives gloss to the formula and helps to provide long wear properties.

Pearl Hair Shampoo is a mild shampoo based on natural concept. It contains:

• Recrystallized Amihope LL concentrate which provides a natural pearlescent effect and improves conditioning property of the shampoo.
• Amisoft CS-22 acts as a natural cleansing surfactant.

In sensory tests, the shampoo with AMIHOPE LL is perceived as better performing in terms of foamability, finger-through during washing, hair smoothness and detangling property during rinse.

Preparation of recrystallized Amihope LL concentrate:
When AMIHOPE LL is precipitated in a surfactant solution the particle size tends to be smaller and the dispersing the LL in a liquid cleansing formulation is easier. This AMIHOPE LL concentrate is stable, suitable as a premix for various preparations.

This Color-expressive mascara with Eastman AQ™ 38S polymer features:
Eastman AQ™ 38S Polymer: is a film former. It is a sulfopolyester that disperses directly in hot water without the assistance of amines, co-solvents, surfactants or other additives. It exhibits no neutralization, quick drying and water-resistant properties.

Creamy-feeling high frost eye shadow containing BORONEIGE® 901. Talc N/MM3 has a creamy feel and adheres to skin. BORONEIGE® 901 adds slip and also aids in skin adhesion to prevent creasing. The Silane-treated Red and Black Iron Oxides disperse easily and adhere to the skin as well. The Silane-treated KTZ® Aruban Coral and KTZ® Ultra Shimmer Pearls give a sparkling effect and also adhere to skin. SF96-20 and ELEMENT14 PDMS 350 are used as binders.

Dry Touch Sunscreen features:

• Kobo TNP50T7-ATB, an optimized mixture of a TiO₂ sunscreen dispersion with Kobo's SunBoost ATB™, a proprietary blend of antioxidants, anti-irritant and anti-inflammatory agents.
• TNP65MZS helps achieve SPF. 
• CARESS^® BN09, Boron Nitride gives superior softness and tactility, superb spreadability, excellent adherence, long lasting effect and good coverage. 
• Florite R (Calcium Silicate 20 -30 µm), is a high oil-absorbing powder. 
• Cellulobeads D-5 improve the feel of the formula due to their spherical shape. 
• Kobo's Composite ACZ-50 contains entrapped ZnO inside a micron size acrylates copolymer matrix. It provides UVA protection with even coverage. 
• Kobo's Composite ACT-50 is a powder containing dispersed attenuation grade TiO₂ entrapped within a micron size polymer ma.

Facial Skin Toner is a hazy facial skin toner enriched with pseudo-ceramide ELDEW PS-203 R. ELDEW PS-203 R acts as an emollient, dispersant, emulsion stabilizer, repairing-, conditioning- and moisturizing agent. ELDEW^® PS-203 R is excellent in pigment dispersion and emulsion stabilization.

Kobo's FAS Pigmentary Dispersions provide excellent coverage and MSS-500W gives excellent application and soft focus. Glycospheres, Gs-GT and Gs-PPY aid in whitening, cell turnover and acne control. SF1555 and Element14 PDMS 5-A give slip to the formula during application.

This Light Blemish Balm Creme foundation formula contains Kobo's Titanium Dioxide Dispersion TNP50T7 to help achieve SPF, while Kobo's FAS Pigmentary Dispersions aid in providing coverage. MSS-500W gives excellent application and soft focus. Glycospheres, Gs-GT and Gs-PPY aid in skin whitening, cell turnover and acne control. SF1202 gives playtime and helps with feel, while Element14 PDMS 5-A gives slip to the formula during application.
