Trioctyldodecyl Citrate. Siltech® CE-2000 by Siltech is a pigment dispersant and lubricant. It is also a good emollient for skin care. This grade is a patented oil-soluble citrate ester of a guerbet alcohol. It is a high molecular weight branched ester which provides unique wetting properties for pigments that are used in lipsticks and pressed powders. It also gives excellent cushion in lipsticks. It has low volatility and low irritation properties based on high molecular weight alcohol. Siltech® CE-2000 is highly substantive to the skin. It has a shelf life of 36 months from the date of manufacture.
