Cosmetics & Personal Care Formulations with Dispersants

Elegant W/O sunscreen that uses Kobo's Titanium Dioxide Dispersion, TNP50T7, and Kobo's Zinc Oxide Dispersion, TNP65FZS. MSS-500W. Spherical Silica gives slip during application and reduces shine on the skin. SF1214 is used to enhance feel during application.

This high impact color lipstick contains Kobo's Pigmentary Dispersions, INBP75ER and INBP45R7C, which are used for their high percentage of color. They also help to improve wear and formula aesthetics. KTZ® Classic White is treated with ITT for optimal glide and creates a shimmering, frosted effect. Kobo's Microsphere, MSS- 500/3H, is used to achieve better application and helps to reduce sweating. Koboguard® 5400 CCT gives gloss to the formula and helps to provide long wear properties.

Pearl Hair Shampoo is a mild shampoo based on natural concept. It contains:

• Recrystallized Amihope LL concentrate which provides a natural pearlescent effect and improves conditioning property of the shampoo.
• Amisoft CS-22 acts as a natural cleansing surfactant.

In sensory tests, the shampoo with AMIHOPE LL is perceived as better performing in terms of foamability, finger-through during washing, hair smoothness and detangling property during rinse.

Preparation of recrystallized Amihope LL concentrate:
When AMIHOPE LL is precipitated in a surfactant solution the particle size tends to be smaller and the dispersing the LL in a liquid cleansing formulation is easier. This AMIHOPE LL concentrate is stable, suitable as a premix for various preparations.

This formulation contains, Homosalate; Titanium Dioxide; Aluminum Hydroxide Stearic Acid, which is a unique blend of an inorganic with a organic sunscreen. Vegetable and silicone emollients along with the sunscreens are dispersed in an O/W emulsion. Active Ingredients: Titanium Dioxide 5.94%; Homosalate 12.06%; Butylmethoxydibenzoylmethane 1.50%

Anhydrous Sunscreen features Kobo INQP70TMD and HBP50TMD, TiO₂ sunscreen dispersions. HBTN60ZSI, ZnO sunscreen dispersion helps achieve SPF. 

• Kobo Microsphere, BPD-500W, creates a natural blurring effect that minimizes the look of lines and wrinkles and illuminates the skin. 
• MSS-500W is a silica microsphere responsible for enhanced feel. 
• SunBoost ATB™, which contains a proprietary ratio of anti-oxidant, anti-irritant and anti-inflammatory agents, helps boost SPF and PFA. 
• CXG-1104 is a silicone elastomer that provides a silky, powdery feel without cyclics. 
• DSPCS/H-12 gives a lightweight feel and helps the formula go immediately into a powder on the skin. 
• SUMECTON SAN-P thickens and stabilizes the emulsion.

Creamy-feeling high frost eye shadow containing BORONEIGE® 901. Talc N/MM3 has a creamy feel and adheres to skin. BORONEIGE® 901 adds slip and also aids in skin adhesion to prevent creasing. The Silane-treated Red and Black Iron Oxides disperse easily and adhere to the skin as well. The Silane-treated KTZ® Aruban Coral and KTZ® Ultra Shimmer Pearls give a sparkling effect and also adhere to skin. SF96-20 and ELEMENT14 PDMS 350 are used as binders.

Pamper your dry, rough skin with this self-warming body scrub. This formula contains natural sugar granules that gently exfoliate skin, releasing a refreshing citrus fragrance. Carbopol® Ultrez 21 Polymer efficiently thickens the formula and suspends the sugar granules for even dispersion. Hydramol™ PGPL Ester provides excellent emolliency and mitigates oiliness for a light afterfeel.

This long-wear mascara contains Kobo's Carbon Black dispersion, WSJ10CB, for intense, deep, black color. Kobo's resin composite, Koboguard® 5400 SQ, gives quick build up with a water-resistant film, and aids in long wear. Kobo's pigmentary dispersion, W60BBNFAP, is used in combination with WSJ10CB to provide a deep black shade and film-forming properties. Diasphere® KS1000 is a unique, 10 micron, spherical powder that is non-absorbant and and gives build up without drying out the formula.
