Cosmetics & Personal Care Formulations with Dispersants

This easy-to-make, cold processed Blemish Balm (BB) facial cream is formulated and stabilized with Novemer™ EC-2 Polymer. It also provides a light but cushiony break to this 5-in-1 facial cream which moisturizes, covers blemishes, brightens, helps prevent early signs of aging, and offers sun protection. Glucam™ E-20 & P-20 Humectants enhance skin hydration. This tinted moisturizer works like a foundation, but is not as thick as regular foundation to produce a natural look without clogging pores. It contains Schercemol™ DIA, NGDO & CATC Esters to disperse and provide uniform coverage of Titanium Dioxide and Mica on the skin. Elegant W/O sunscreen that uses Kobo's Titanium Dioxide Dispersion, TNP50T7, and Kobo's Zinc Oxide Dispersion, TNP65FZS. MSS-500W. Spherical Silica gives slip during application and reduces shine on the skin. SF1214 is used to enhance feel during application.

This high impact color lipstick contains Kobo's Pigmentary Dispersions, INBP75ER and INBP45R7C, which are used for their high percentage of color. They also help to improve wear and formula aesthetics. KTZ® Classic White is treated with ITT for optimal glide and creates a shimmering, frosted effect. Kobo's Microsphere, MSS- 500/3H, is used to achieve better application and helps to reduce sweating. Koboguard® 5400 CCT gives gloss to the formula and helps to provide long wear properties.

This thickening, waterproof mascara features Kobo's Carbon Black dispersion, PMLVP20CB, which gives a deep, intense black color. The dispersion eliminates the need for milling of Carbon Black (Black 2) and contributes to an ease in manufacturing. Lucentite SAN-P is a synthetic clay thickener that gels the solvents. Koboguard® 5400 IDD gives a waterproof film, while SP-10 helps the mascara glide on the lashes and adds volume.

Pearl Hair Shampoo is a mild shampoo based on natural concept. It contains:

• Recrystallized Amihope LL concentrate which provides a natural pearlescent effect and improves conditioning property of the shampoo.
• Amisoft CS-22 acts as a natural cleansing surfactant.

In sensory tests, the shampoo with AMIHOPE LL is perceived as better performing in terms of foamability, finger-through during washing, hair smoothness and detangling property during rinse.

Preparation of recrystallized Amihope LL concentrate:
When AMIHOPE LL is precipitated in a surfactant solution the particle size tends to be smaller and the dispersing the LL in a liquid cleansing formulation is easier. This AMIHOPE LL concentrate is stable, suitable as a premix for various preparations.

This sheer, natural sunscreen contains Ecocert compliant materials. This high SPF sunscreen uses Kobo's non-nano natural sunscreen dispersion EMP50TEL. Sunsil-130H helps the formula spread and dry to a smooth non-tacky film.

Satiny ZnO Sun Lotion (SPF 30) is a non-greasy, non-sticky, and easy-to-spread broad spectrum SPF 30 sun lotion with 80 minute water resistance for effective UV protection. Avalure™ Flex-6 polymer acts as the sole O/W emulsifier and primary thickener providing efficient and robust stabilization. This non-ionic polymer is compatible with metal oxides (ZnO), while G-66 Guerbet ester functions as the inorganic pigment dispersant for a uniform distribution of the inorganic UV filters. Matmarine™ Blue Ingredient reduces sebum levels to minimize imperfections such as spots, enlarged pores, and acne. A formulation by Lubrizol.

Pamper your dry, rough skin with this self-warming body scrub. This formula contains natural sugar granules that gently exfoliate skin, releasing a refreshing citrus fragrance. Carbopol® Ultrez 21 Polymer efficiently thickens the formula and suspends the sugar granules for even dispersion. Hydramol™ PGPL Ester provides excellent emolliency and mitigates oiliness for a light afterfeel.
