Cosmetics & Personal Care Formulations with Dispersants

This O/W sunscreen emulsion gives an example of an emulsifying system and stabilizers that are compatible with the use of Zinc Oxide. In order to maximize the UV protection, the sunscreen system is comprised of TNP50T7-ATB, a TiO₂ dispersion containing Kobo's patented SPF booster SunBoost ATB and HBQP75FZS, a ZnO dispersion containing Butyloctyl Salicylate, another SPF booster. The sunscreen contains 1,48% of Butyloctyl Salicylate. Lightweight and readily absorbed, this emulsion offers good sensorial properties for a mineral-only system.

Anti-UV Refreshing Bi-Gel SPF30 is sprayable sunscreen that protects and refreshes the skin. Formulated with Emulfree^® CBG: the UV protection is naturally waterproof and the skin is left cooled and moisturized. It contains:

• Emulfree^® CBG at 5% which creates a light and fresh texture with a quick-break effect; it is a PEG-free and surfactant free system which allows the formation of a 'bi-gel', an intimate blend between an oil and a gelled aqueous phase.
• Cocoate™ BG which at 1.5% helps to stabilize and disperse the UV filters as well as the Sunspheres™ Powder in phase A.

Performance Economy Shampoo delivers a pleasing slippery feel and combability to wet hair. Sensomer™ 10M conditioning polymer provides smooth feel and Glucamate™ LT thickener increases the viscosity of the formula without the addition of salt. Quickpearl™ EGL pearlizing agent contributes an elegant pearlescent appearance. This thin viscosity sunscreen features Kobo's TiO₂ dispersion HBP50VMTS, which contains Butyloctyl Salicylate, a booster to help increase SPF. Kobo's zinc oxide dispersion, CMX80MZCM is used for excellent slip and spreading. This sunscreen contains Composite ACT-50, a powder containing dispersed attenuation grade TiO₂ entrapped within a micron size polymer matrix. It offers high SPF efficacy, low whitening effect and enhanced skin feel during application. SunBoost ATB, a proprietary ratio of anti-oxidants, anti-irritant and anti-inflammatory agents, also helps boost SPF. SS4230 gives enhanced skin feel during application, SF1528 is an excellent W/O emulsifier and SFE839 helps the formula to dry down to a silky, powdery feel. This formula contains 4% Butyloctyl Salicy

Cushion Cream is a lightweight water foundation is inspired from the Korean concept of Cushion Cream. It contains:

• Eldew SL-205 which help in dispersing pigments without sticky effect. 
• Amihope LL to give silky feeling during application, which is really easy due to the pad.
