HELOXY™ Modifier 71 by Westlake Epoxy is a liquid bisphenol A based epoxy resin. It is a low viscosity flexibilizer that serves as a viscosity depressing agent. It is resistance to thermal shock & improves impact strength and toughness. HELOXY™ Modifier 71 is used in coating applications.
HELOXY™ Modifier 107 by Westlake Epoxy is a viscosity reducer or reactive diluent. It is diglycidyl ether of cyclohexane dimethanol. It improves air release and wetting characteristics. It provides excellent cured state resistance to creep or deformation under high stress.<br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It maintains high reactivity yet provides workable viscosity at room temperature when using novolac or other high functionality epoxy resins.</li>
<li>It decreases chemical resistance and elevated temperature performance.</li>
<li>It is compatible with bisphenol-A based epoxy resins and higher functionality epoxy resins. </li>
<li>The shelf life of HELOXY™ Modifier 107 is 5 years.</li></ul>
HELOXY™ Modifier 68 by Westlake Epoxy is a viscosity modifier or reactive diluent used for all classes of epoxy resins. It is a diglycidyl ether of neopentyl glycol. It offers improved air release and wetting characteristics in electrical potting, encapsulation and impregnation applications. <br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It can maintain high reactivity yet provide workable viscosity at room temperature when using epoxy novolac or other high functionality epoxy resins. </li>
<li>It reduces viscosity while maintaining most cured state properties.</li>
<li>It is compatible with bisphenol-based epoxy resins, peroxidized olefins and higher functionality epoxy resins. </li>
<li>HELOXY™ Modifier 68 has a shelf life of 5 years.</li></ul>
HELOXY™ Modifier KR by Westlake Epoxy is a primarily reactive diluent or viscosity reducer. It is monoglycidyl ether of o-cresol. It offers good leveling, low volatility, and surface- & wetting properties.
HELOXY™ Modifier ML by Westlake Epoxy is a primarily reactive diluent or viscosity reducer. It is aliphatic monoglycidyl ether of C13/C15-fatty alcohol. It offers good leveling, and surface- & wetting properties.
HELOXY™ Modifier 505 by Westlake Epoxy is a low viscosity polyepoxide resin. It imparts flexibility, impact resistance and thermal shock resistance when incorporated in a wide variety of epoxy formulations. It is compatible with conventional epoxy resins. This non-volatile & low odor grade offers excellent water resistance. It is used in dip coating compounds. The shelf life of HELOXY™ Modifier 505 is 2 years.
HELOXY™ Modifier AQ by Westlake Epoxy is a primarily reactive diluent or viscosity reducer. It is monoglycidyl ether of para-tertiary butyl phenol. It offers good leveling, low volatility, and surface & wetting properties.
HELOXY™ Modifier 8 by Westlake Epoxy is suitable for viscosity reducing modification of epoxy resin formulations. It is an aliphatic monoglycidyl ether containing alkyl chains which are predominately C12 and C14 in length. This additive offers excellent substrate & filler wetting characteristics, non-offensive odor and low level of volatility. It is suitable for water reducible coatings. The shelf life of HELOXY™ Modifier 8 is 5 years.
HELOXY™ Modifier 65 by Westlake Epoxy is a moderately effective viscosity reducer for higher molecular weight aromatic epoxy resins. It is glycidyl ether of para-tertiary butyl phenol. It is particularly useful in epoxy applications requiring combinations of good electrical properties, low viscosity, low volatility and/or low odor levels. It is used in protective coatings. The shelf life of HELOXY™ Modifier 65 is 5 years.
HELOXY™ Modifier 67 by Westlake Epoxy is a viscosity reducer or reactive diluent. It is diglycidyl ether of 1, 4-butanediol. It improves air release and wetting characteristics. This additive improves cured system flexibility and surface tension. It is compatible with bisphenol-based epoxy resins, peroxidized olefins, and higher functionality epoxy resins. The shelf life of HELOXY™ Modifier 67 is 5 years.
