Lead-free lithium soap solution. Used as a very good drying catalyst in high-solids, solventborne and waterborne coatings (paints, varnishes and inks) in conjunction with active driers such as cobalt and calcium to improve final properties. Concentrated fungicide based on the copper salt of synthetic acid. Designed for incorporation into preservatives, which are used in solvent applications. Can be used to protect fibrous substrates. Low viscosity grade based on a synthetic acid.
Diluted in a volatile organic solvent such as white spirit. Highly effective against fungi and various wood boring insects. Normally applied in combination with water-proofing, fire retardants and pigments.
Where lack of color is desired, zinc is recommended. Brush or dip application: 2.0% copper. Cold soak or pressure treatment: 0.5 - 1.0% copper. Open tank, hot and cold treatment: 0.5% copper. A 2% copper concentration in mineral spirits, kerosene or fuel oil is generally recommended. Lead soap solution. Used as an auxiliary drier in solventborne and waterborne coatings (paints, varnishes and inks) in conjunction with active driers such as cobalt and manganese to improve final properties. Offers polymerizing effect. Contains special complexing and reactive emulsifiers which allows spontaneous emulsification. Can be used in oxidatively drying systems based on water emulsifiable or water soluble alkyd resins and also provide better compatibility in water-borne paints.
Can be added during the let-down stage of the paint production. Recommended to pre-mix the product with the resin, the thickening agent or to add it to an aqueous emulsion (approx. 10%). This reduces the risk of flocculation or coagulation. Recommended usage level: 1.5% - 3.0% based on resin solids. Lead soap solution. Used as an auxiliary drier in solventborne and waterborne coatings (paints, varnishes and inks) in conjunction with active driers such as cobalt and manganese to improve final properties. Offers polymerizing effect. Lead- and barium-free combination drier based on cobalt and zirconium. Used in oxidatively drying paints for general applications. Offers improved efficiency, reduction of the amount of raw materials and optimal metal proportions·
Use level: 0.8–1.2% on total resins solids. Lead- and barium-free multi-purpose combination drier based on cobalt, calcium and zirconium. Used in oxidatively drying paints. Offers improved efficiency, reduction of the amount of raw materials and optimal metal proportions·
Use level: 3–7% on total resins solids. Cobalt soap solution. Used as a very active primary drier in solventborne and waterborne coatings (paints, varnishes and inks). Offers rapid surface drying. Can be used in conjunction with auxiliary driers. Can reduce water resistance and increase risk of wrinkling. Barium soap solution. Used as an auxiliary drier in solventborne and waterborne coatings (paints, varnishes and inks) in conjunction with active driers to improve final properties.
Recommended usage level: 0.8 - 2.5% based on resin solids and 0.5 - 1.3% NUODEX WEB Cobalt 8%.
