SOLAPLEX® COPPER 8%

Concentrated fungicide based on the copper salt of synthetic acid. Designed for incorporation into preservatives, which are used in solvent applications. Can be used to protect fibrous substrates. Low viscosity grade based on a synthetic acid. Diluted in a volatile organic solvent such as white spirit. Highly effective against fungi and various wood boring insects. Normally applied in combination with water-proofing, fire retardants and pigments. Where lack of color is desired, zinc is recommended. Brush or dip application: 2.0% copper. Cold soak or pressure treatment: 0.5 - 1.0% copper. Open tank, hot and cold treatment: 0.5% copper. A 2% copper concentration in mineral spirits, kerosene or fuel oil is generally recommended.
