MAPICO™ Brown 444

by Venator Materials

Blended synthetic iron oxide. High-tinting strength blend of red, yellow and black synthetic iron oxide primary pigments. It is manufactured in large batches on intensive grinding and blending equipment. Each batch is measured throughout the process and verified on spectrophotometer to certify its conformance with standards for tint strength as well as shade. It meets ASTM C979-.82 standards and therefore is suitable to color products made with cement. All Mapico@ iron oxides are manufactured under strict QC and environmental controls for reliable and consistent quality, stable under exposure to sunlight, UV radiation and is alkali, chemical as well as weather resistant. Used in low gloss coatings.

MAPICO™ Yellow 1000

by Venator Materials

Ferric oxide hydrate. It is manufactured in the Martin process, that is suitable for use in medium-gloss coatings. It is a permanent, non-bleeding inert pigment with a clean shade and good heat resistance that can be dispersed in coatings. Used alone and in combination with organic pigments to improve opacity, reduce formula cost and add UV resistance to coating and ink formulations. Mapico® Yellow 1000 is color-stable in processing temperatures below 175°C (350°F). It is manufactured under strict QC and environmental controls for reliable, consistent quality, stable under exposure to sunlight as well as UV radiation and is alkali, chemical and weather resistant. Used in powder coatings, can coatings, ink, concrete, stucco and plaster.

MAPICO™ Yellow 1150A

by Venator Materials

Ferric oxide hydrate. It is manufactured in the Martin process, micronized for ease of dispersion. It is a permanent, non-bleeding inert pigment with a very clean shade, low oil absorption and good heat resistance that disperses easily on high-speed equipment in coatings. Used alone and in combination with organic pigments to improve opacity, reduce formula cost and add UV resistance to coating and ink formulations. Mapico® Yellow 1150A is color-stable in processing temperatures below 175°C (350°F). It is manufactured under strict QC and environmental controls for reliable, consistent quality, stable under exposure to sunlight as well as UV radiation and is alkali, chemical and weather resistant. Used in powder coatings, can coatings and inks.

MAPICO™ Yellow 1135

by Venator Materials

High-purity synthetic iron oxide. It is manufactured in the Martin process from specially selected raw materials under very tight process and quality control procedures. It is used alone and in combination with organic pigments to improve opacity, reduce formula cost and add UV resistance. Mapico® Yellow 1135 is color-stable in processing temperatures below 175°C (350°F). It is manufactured under strict QC and environmental controls for reliable as well as consistent quality, stable under exposure to sunlight, UV radiation and alkali, chemical as well as weather resistant. Used in can coatings and inks.
