MAPICO™ Yellow 1135

High-purity synthetic iron oxide. It is manufactured in the Martin process from specially selected raw materials under very tight process and quality control procedures. It is used alone and in combination with organic pigments to improve opacity, reduce formula cost and add UV resistance. Mapico® Yellow 1135 is color-stable in processing temperatures below 175°C (350°F). It is manufactured under strict QC and environmental controls for reliable as well as consistent quality, stable under exposure to sunlight, UV radiation and alkali, chemical as well as weather resistant. Used in can coatings and inks.
